Cancer survivors tell us all the time that support from friends and family can make a huge difference during their journey of treatment and recovery. Beth Chapman, reality TV star and wife to Duane “Dog the Bounty Hunter”, is no different. In recent months, the ever candid Beth has been refreshingly open about how much support from her loved ones means to her as she battles lung cancer. This week, she shared a video sent to her by a famous pal, the comedian known as Carrot Top, and described just how much she appreciates love and support from friends.
“I so love this guy,” Beth wrote when she shared the video to Instagram. “He makes me laugh, smile and damn near wet my pants funny sometimes but in all seriousness he’s my dear dear friend.”

She had surgery and was declared cancer free. But the cancer came back in late 2018, when Beth was rushed to the hospital in the middle of the night after having trouble breathing. This time, she was diagnosed with Stage 4 lung cancer.
The reality star, however, has given no indication that she plans to give up her life’s work — bounty hunting. She and Dog are apparently still filming their new show “Dog’s Most Wanted.” The show will air on WGN America, but a release date has not been decided on yet. Many fans speculated that the show’s release date was pushed back because of Beth’s ailing health — but there’s been no confirmation of that.
In her first public speaking appearance since she was diagnosed with cancer again, on Mother’s Day at the Source Church in Bradenton, Florida, Beth said that she is relying on faith to get her through this challenge. “This is the ultimate test of faith,” she told congregants at the church. “It is the evidence of things hoped for, and it is the substance of things not known. And although chemotherapy is not my bag, people, sorry, that’s not for me. So for me, this is the ultimate test of faith.”
It’s unclear exactly how Beth is being treated for cancer this time around, though her Mother’s Day speech does seem to allude to the fact that she is skipping chemotherapy. What we do know is that fans and friends alike are coming together to wish her well — and she continues to put on a brave face.
